We’re thrilled to announce that our recent blood drive on October 29th was an incredible success! With the enthusiasm and dedication of our team, we collected a remarkable 30 liters of blood—all donated by high schoolers!

This drive wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our regional youth advisor, Kristen Worman, and our school advisor, Ryan Cronomiz. Working alongside them to organize, plan, and bring this event to life was an unforgettable experience, and I am so grateful for their guidance. This was t

he third blood drive I’ve had the honor of hosting as Red Cross Club President at Downingtown East, and the turnout was the largest we’ve seen in the past three years.

A special thank you goes out to the amazing volunteers from the American Red Cross who joined us and brought their expertise to help make this event run smoothly. Their guidance was instrumental in helping us achieve our goal—especially during this critical time of blood shortage.

And of course, I can’t thank our 50+ Red Cross Club members enough for their hard work and commitment every step of the way, as well as the 80+ Downingtown East students and staff who showed up to donate! Your willingness to volunteer and contribute to such a meaningful cause means the world to us.

This drive was especially significant given the ongoing blood shortage, and we’re incredibly proud to know that our contributions will help people in need. Thank you to everyone who made this possible—we truly couldn’t have done it without each and every one of you. Here’s to many more successful events that make a real difference in our community in the midst of this blood shortage. Look forward to continuing this enthiusiasm throughout this year!
