Spreading Comfort: Kicking Off Our “Hug-a-Bear” Drive! 🧸❤️

At Downingtown East’s American Red Cross Club, we believe that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a big difference—especially for children facing stressful and traumatic situations. That’s why we’re so excited to launch our “Hug-a-Bear” Drive, a community effort to collect and donate teddy bears for children riding in ambulances with the Uwchlan Ambulance Corps.

Why It Matters

During emergencies, children often experience fear, confusion, and distress. A simple teddy bear can provide comfort, security, and a sense of reassurance in those difficult moments. By donating new or gently loved stuffed animals, we can help bring a little warmth and care to young patients when they need it most.

How You Can Help
